Holiday Thrift Exchange

The Tantramar Wetlands centre and its Co-op students collaborated with EOS eco energy to create a opportunity to give back to loved ones at the low cost of decluttering. we took donations from October to December. For each item donors would receive one ticket (for every garbage bag full, 5 tickets) and with said tickets they could go in and exchange one ticket for any item, no mater the size. from the 8th to the 12th students at TRHS could come down and use their tickets at lunch. As for locals, the thrift exchange was open to the public during the weekend from the 12th to the 13th. For any items that where not sold during the Thrift Exchange we brought them to the local Salvation Army.

We had so many lovely people who generously donated! We would especially like to thank the Second Chance Thrift Store for their bountiful donations towards our Holiday Thrift Exchange (go show them some love). We appreciate every donation from all participants, we had a great turnout! lets make next year even bigger!
